Government Repeals Disaster Management Act For COVID Containment Measures
The ministry of home affairs revoked provisions of the Disaster Management Act for Covid-19 containment measures. In addition, the order was issued in the wake of improvement of the Covid-19 situation in India. According to the order, the States/UTs may continue to follow the SOPs/advisories that have been or are being issued by the MoHFW for Covid containment measures, vaccination and including observing COVID Appropriate Behaviour.
