Telangana Man Stabbed To Death Over Rs 10,000
In a shocking crime incident, a Telangana man was murdered in broad-day light near the Telangana High Court (HC.) Getting into the details, the victim identified as Mithun had an argument over Rs 10,000 with the accused. The accused, who surrendered to the Hyderabad Police, confessed his crime and said, he stabbed Mithun in anger after a quarrel regarding the money. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.

Senior Citizen Murdered Over Old Dispute In Mumbai's Wadala Region
In Central Mumbai's Wadala area, a senior citizen Shantaram Patil Sakat (62) was attacked by Kamlesh Narkar (40), confirmed police on July 26. The accused attacked Sakat with a hammer over an old dispute and fled the spot. The RAM Marg Police registered a case under section 307 (attempt to murder) and other relevant provisions of the Indian Penal Code (IPC,) and arrested Kamlesh. Further investigation is underway.

Twitter Called Off New Feature That Alerted Users Before Intense Disputes

Drunk Men Kill Shopowner For Refusing Free Cigarettes: MP
In a shocking manner, a shopowner, Pintu Debey scummed to his injuries at a hospital following the attack by two drunk men over Rs 70 in MP's Indore on September 5. Reportedly, the duo attacked the shopkeeper with a rod and also stabbed him because he refused them free cigarettes. ''We've taken one of them into custody and search is on for the other,'' said City SP Jayant Rathore.

SC Criticises Centre Over Negligence Towards Cauvery Water Dispute
The Supreme Court on April 8 criticised the Centre for failing to propose a water sharing scheme in the Cauvery dispute. Calling it a "sheer contempt" of its direction, the court asked the Water Resources Ministry to furnish Cauvery Management draft on May 14. However, the Centre said it could not met the parties concerned: Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, and Puducherry (UT), due to the ongoing Karnataka Assembly polls campaigning.
