Former Ghaziabad's District Magistrate Nidhi Kesarwani has been suspended by UP CM Yogi Adityanath, on May 4. The suspension has come after Kesarwani was alleged in a land acquisition case for Delhi-Meerut Expressway and Eastern Peripheral Expressway. CM Adityanath then stated that "a section officer and a review officer of the appointment department will also suspended for delay in the taking up the matter". 

The Dehradun administration announced that it would impose a fine of Rs 5,000 on burning plastic or garbage in the open areas, in order to improve the air quality. It has also been ordered by the District Magistrate to the Municipal Corporations and concerned authorities to make challan against those who don't follow the rules. "I've directed for strict action," R Rajesh Kumar, District Magistrate, told to ANI.

Actor Sonu Sood has given clarification to Odisha’s Ganjam District Magistrate for alleging him of taking undue credits by claiming a hospital bed is arranged for COVID-19 patient. While the DM claimed that bed was not arranged, Sonu disclosed his Whatsapp chat screenshots on Twitter and asked the DM to double-check on arranging an oxygen bed at Ganjam city hospital, Berhampur. Later, the beneficiary confirmed of receiving a bed.
