In Assam’s Karimganj district on January 20, in a joint operation by BSF and police, drugs worth Rs 1.30 crore were seized. BSF and Karimganj district police got some secret information and on that information, they launched the operation. "During the search, the security personnel recovered 26,000 tablets of contraband drugs from the vehicle," said police. Meanwhile, one person has been arrested and the case is under investigation.
