RSS Chief Says Shouldn't Fight Over Different Worship Means

At an event in Delhi, the RSS President Mohan Bhagwat emphasised on the Vedas acknowledgement of worship and God. During the release of Hindi and Urdu version of Samveda, Bhagwat said, "One should not fight over different means and this is the message relevant for all and is something that India has to offer to others." Notably, Samveda is one of the four Vedas, regarded as foundation base of Hinduism.

Madras HC Hears Plea, Says To Be Tolerant Towards Other Religion

The Madras HC, on February 6, reviewed a petition filed against construction of a church, granted by the district authority.  Upholding the permission, the HC said, India is a secular country of diversities and takes pride in it. Single bench judge CV Karthikeyan said, "One of the basic tenets to be followed by every Hindu is tolerance." "The petitioner should learn to live with everybody else around him," said HC.

Grammys To Include "Inclusion Rider" To Boost Diversification At On & Off Stage

The Grammys will supposedly include an "inclusion rider" ensuring a diverse team working on and off stage to present the highest honours in the music industry, organizers said on August 4. The Recording Academy, partnered with racial justice nonprofit Color of Change, stated that it is the first music awards show to take such a step. The inclusion move comes after the 2020 cultural protests against systemic racism in the US.

Two Members Quit Foreign Press Association Citing Toxic Work Environment

Two members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association left the organization, calling it a "toxic environment for professional journalists." Diederik van Hoogstraten of the Netherlands and Wenting Xu of China resigned from the HFPA board. In the letter, they criticized the organization's effort, calling it "simply a show off for the public." Earlier this year, the HFPA received a lot of criticism from netizens for lacking diversity.
