While hearing a petition, the Karnataka High Court urged CBI to disburse the seized Rs 53.46 lakh to DK Shivakumar's close associate Sachin Narayan. Earlier accused of corruption, the bench headed by Justice Michael Cunha reiterated Narayan's innocence of having any connection with disproportionate assets that are under investigation. Besides, the amount seized from Wellworth Software Limited was in due course of business, stated Narayan.
