Indonesian Army Hints The End Of 'Virginity Tests' For Female Recruits
The mandatory and invasive 'virginity tests' for women recruits in the Indonesian army and sometimes wives of military personnel, may come to an end, the army hinted. The army had put through the female recruits to the “abusive, unscientific, and discriminatory tests," for decades, as per the Human Rights Watch. Even, the WHO has regarded this test as of “no scientific validity” and a “violation of victim’s human rights.”

Canadian Fertility Doctor Uses His Sperm To Impregnate Women, Suit Filed Against Him
Norman Barwin, a Canadian fertility doctor has been accused of using his own sperm to impregnate his patients through IVF treatment. A class of action suit has been issued against Barwin on July 28. Reportedly, he has agreed to a C$13.375m (80 crores) settlement with his victims. Doctor Charged For Molesting Nurse In Mumbai
An assault case has been filed against a doctor from Aarti Hospital in Nala Sopara, Mumbai, for allegedly molesting a staff nurse. He was booked under IPC Section 354, 354 (b) (assault women's modesty), and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), although the doctor is yet to be arrested. Tulinj Police officials are yet to throw an investigation. Reportedly, an official statement from the doctor is yet to be recorded.

Maharastra Doctor Arrested For Over-Charging COVID Patients
Maharastra Police arrested Dr. Mahesh Jadhav, who serves at 'Apex Cares Hospital' in Sangli, under the charges of over-charging patients and culpable homicide. Several complaints were registered and people claim lack of equipments & other facilities needed to treat COVID-19 patients. The 36-year-old doctor has been remanded by the Magistrate Court and sent to police custody for 7 days.

Act Of Revenge: Doctor Couple Shot Dead In Car In Rajasthan's Bharatpur
A doctor couple was shot dead in their car by two motorists on a busy street of Bharatpur, Rajasthan at 4:45PM on May 28. The petrifying incident was captured on CCTV. Reportedly, two years ago, the couple was accused of murdering the husband's alleged 'other woman'. UP Doctor Handles Caseload Of Entire Village In his One Room Clinic
UP-based Dr VK Sharma has become a lone warrior for Bargaon village during this time of the pandemic. The doctor is testing and treating the entire population of the village as the Primary Health Centre has closed down. Interestingly, Sharma's one-room clinic is visited by around 100 patients every day.
