Netflix's Indian Matchmaking Fame Pradhyuman Maloo Accused Of Domestic Violence
Pradhyuman Maloo, one of the high-profile clients of Seema Taparia, who was also featured in Netflix's document series 'Indian Matchmaking' is accused of domestic violence. The accused's wife Ashima Chauhan, who was also part of the Netflix show, registered an FIR in Mumbai. As per FIR, Ashima left her home in September 2022 and she had to endure physical and emotional abuse by Pradhyuman and his family, along with blackmailing.

Woman Jumps Into Well Along With 2-Year-Old Daughter After Quarrel At Home, Dies By Suicide
In Rajasthan's Sawai Madhopur district, a 25-year-old woman jumped into a well along with her two-year-old daughter, and died by suicide, said police on May 31. Reportedly, she had a quarrel with her husband and her in-laws which prompted her to take the dreadful step. The duo tragically drowned in the well, situated two kilometres from their house. Their bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further details are awaited.

Rapper Michael Stevenson Granted Bail Over Domestic Violence
Michael Stevenson, a famous rapper, popularly known as 'Tyga' was arrested on October 12 for reportedly assaulting his ex-girlfriend Camryn Swanson. Honey Singh Accused Of Domestic Violence, Adultery By His Wife
Shalini, Honey Singh's wife, has accused him of domestic assault, adultery, and alcoholism. Reportedly, a case has been filed against him in Delhi's Tis Hazari court. The singer has been served with a notice, and the court is awaiting his response. BJP MLA's Wife Drops Charges Of Domestic Violence
The domestic violence charges against BJP MLA Vishal Nehria have been dropped upon his wife Oshin Sharma's request, according to Superintendent of Police Kangra Vimukt Ranjan. On June 28, Sharma pleaded that she didn't want any kind of action to be taken against her husband. Whereas on June 25, through a post on social media, she alleged that Nehria had slapped her thrice and that she filed a complaint.

HPAS Officer Expelled From House After Testing Positive For COVID-19
HPAS officer, Oshin Sharma, accuses her husband Vishal Nehriya, a BJP MLA, of domestic violence. Sharma, in her 11-minute video, said that Nehriya whom she married in April 2021, slapped her on June 24 and tortured mentally & physically several times in the past. Domestic Violence Related Google Searches Up By Huge During COVID: Study
The journal Taylor and Francis' study analyzing Google searches showed that instances of male violence due to pandemic increased from 31% to 106% in 2020. The US-based analysis showed that Google search on 'How to control your woman' and 'how to hit a woman so no one knows' was searched 16.5 crore times. Revealing indicators of violence the report highlighted searches "He will kill me" and "he beats me up".
