Protestors For Domestic Violence Cases In France Interrupt Cannes Film Festival
Protestors caused another disturbance on the Red Carpet of the 75th Cannes Film Festival on May 22. A group of black-clad ladies unfurled a poster and fired black smoke bombs while raising their hands in the air. The names on the poster are those of women assassinated by men in domestic abuse incidents in France. A spokesman for the film "Riposte Feministe" later claimed responsibility for the demonstration.
