Muslim Couple Donate Rs 1.02 Crore To TTD Lord Venkateswara Temple: AP

A Muslim couple from Chennai donated an amount of Rs 1.02 crore, to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Lord Venkateswara Temple, in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. On 20 September, the couple Abdul Ghani and his wife Nubina Banu met with the TTD Executive Officer A Dharma and handed the cheque. Of the total, Rs 15 lakh will be for Anna Prasadam Trust and the remaining for new furniture, and cooking equipment.

Mukesh Ambani Donates Rs 1.5 Crore To TTD Authority

Businessman Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance, offered Rs 1.5 crores at the shrine of Lord Venkateshwara, at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD.) On September 15, Ambani gave the demand draft for the amount to the Executive Officer of TTD AV Dharma during his visit to the temple. Furthermore Mukesh Ambani addressed the media and expressed happiness, saying he prayed at temple of Lord Venkateshwara in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh.

An 80-year-old woman named Ashwathamma donated a whopping amount of Rs 1 lakh to a temple in Mangaluru, Karnataka. On April 28, she donated her earned money through begging to the Kshetra Rajarajeshwari Temple. Furthermore, the woman is earning from begging for 18 years, after his husband's death. In addition, in the past also Ashwathamma donated up to Rs 6 lakhs to various temples and orphanages in Karnataka.

Sangrur Official To Contribute Salary For Dead Farmer's Daughters Education

A police official in the Sangrur district has pledged to contribute a part of his salary for the education of a dead farmer's daughters. SSP Mandeep S Sidhu, who has been posted in the district for the third time, has pledged to contribute a part of his monthly salary for the daughters' education. Sidhu, himself a farmer's son, says that this step is a part of his 'Padhta Punjab' campaign.

Muslim Family Donates 2.5 crore Worth Land For Temple Construction: Bihar

A Muslim family in Bihar have donated land worth Rs 2.5 crore for Viratt Ramayan Mandir, construction. Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan, a businessman from East Champaran said," Majority of the land is owned by our family. I think it is my responsibility to do something for the construction of the temple." The temple is being built on 125 acres land, of which the family gave registry of 23 kattha land.
