Australian Swimmer Shayna Jack's 4-year Doping Suspension Halved

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on November 16 halved the four-year suspension of the Australian swimmer Shayna Jack. Kenya's Daniel Wanjiru Banned from Contesting Marathons For Doping

The Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) on October 15 issued a four-year ban to the former London Marathon winner Daniel Wanjiru for violating the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules. Football Association Bans Barnsley's Diaby For 2 Years Over Doping

The Football Association on October 7 banned the Barnsley defender Bambo Diaby for two years for breaking anti-doping rules. Reportedly, traces of Higenamine, a prohibited substance, was found in the urine sample of Daiby after Barnsley's match against Blackburn on November 23, 2019. The player admitted the charge; however, he did not mention the source of the substance. "I am devastated with the news that I have received," said Diaby.

French Police Freed Two People After Investigation; Accused of Doping Charges

The French authorities freed two people of Nairo Quintana's team from the custody, after arrested for allegedly doping during Tour De France. The police found legal vitamin tablets in Quintana's hotel room, therefore, released them. However, the authorities are yet to decide if the investigation should proceed or not. Earlier, the doctor-physiotherapist, duo were held on September 22, for the investigation.

French Authorities Hold Two People For Doping In Tour De France

The French police held two people for investigation who were alleged of doping in the Tour de France 2020. Reportedly, the suspects are from arkea-samsic team. "Many health products including drugs in their personal belongings," said Prosecuter Dominique Laurens. The Tour de France organizers stated that the convicts must be charged with five years of prison and a fine of $88,000.
