Govt Asks People Not To Subscribe Elon Musk's 'Starlink'
Indian government requested citizens not to subscribe ''Starlink'', a satellite-based internet service launched by Elon Musk in India. The company has so far not acquired the requisite license to offer the service, informed the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on November 26. The government has asked the company to stop the booking of the service on their website and first comply with its framework.

DoT Mandates Prefixation of '0' For All Landline to Mobile Calls
As per a Department of Telecommunications's (DoT) release, landline users will have to prefix a zero for all calls directed to mobile phones from January 15. All major Indian telecom giants like Airtel and Jio have started notifying their customers about the new landline to mobile rule. Reportedly, the directive, which was issued in November 2020, has been implemented to secure adequate numbering resources for fixed-line and mobile users.

Bharti Airtel Approaches SC Over Revaluing AGR Dues By DoT
Telecom giant Bharti Airtel has approached the Supreme Court, pointing out “arithmetical errors” made by the Department of Telecommunications in calculating adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues.
