Uttar Pradesh Government To Soon Adopt Two-Child Policy
To motivate people to have smaller families, Uttar Pradesh State Law Commission initiated the work on the draft bill for the two-child policy. Elucidating the policy, Justice Mittal stated, "UP has more than 22 crore population, which is higher than many countries. So it's necessary that at some point of time one should take measures". Meanwhile, Assam government is also drafting the two-child norm.

Govt Moots Draft To Assure MSP; Farmers Insist To Repeal Law
Day after the farmer leaders' met with Amit Shah, Centre has mooted a proposal saying that the government is ready to assure MSP in written. The government has acknowledged at least seven proposals of farmers and has agreed to regulate the mandi system. The proposal also included amendments like levying equal taxes for mandis as well as private players. However, farmers have declined the proposal and insisted on revoking laws.

NBA 2020 Draft To Take Place on November 18; Minnesota Timberwolves to Pick First
The NBA officials on September 16, confirmed that the 'NBA 2020 draft' will take place on November 18. "The date is still subject to change based on the circumstances," the statement added. With the 'Minnesota Timberwolves' having the first pick, the draft will inject fresh talent into the league, from all around the world. However, the NBA Playoffs (2019-20 season) is in progress, and will provide extra time to 2020 pre-draft process.
