Why Every President Of India Takes Oath On July 25 Since 1977?
The 15th President of India Draupadi Murmu took the oath on July 25, the date which is being followed by many presidents in the past four-decades. Notably, since 1977, every President of India has taken the presidential oath on July 25, as they ended their full five-years term, usually ended on July 24. India's-sixth-President Neelam Sanjiva Reddy was the first to be sworn in on July 25, which became tradition.

Presidential Elections Result; Counting Of Votes To Begin At 11 AM
India is all set to get its 15th President, as the counting of votes for the presidential elections are underway, on July 21. The counting of ballot papers for NDA and UPA candidates, Draupadi Murmu and Yashwant Sinha, respectively, will be held at the Parliament House. The returning officers (ROs) will separate the votes of 729 MPs and 9 MLAs, following which counting will begin at 11 AM.

Presidential Elections 2022: Draupadi Murmu & Yashwant Sinha In Fray
The NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu and the UPA candidate Yashwant Sinha are all set to face the Presidential elections, on July 18. The result of the 2022 elections will be announced on July 21, and the new president will take the oath on July 25. Approximately, 4,800 MPs will be voting in Parliament house, and state legislative. Draupadi Murmu To Visit Goa For Presidential Elections Campaign
The National Democratic Alliance's Presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu is conducting campaigns for the upcoming Presidential elections on July 18. For this campaign, Murmu will meet BJP MLAs and MPs in Goa on July 14. As per sources, she will arrive in Panaji and meet BJP and opposition leaders, seeking support for the elections. Notably, the Goa Assembly House has 40 MLAs, of which 50% MLAs are of BJP.

NDA Presidential Candidate Droupadi Murmu To Visit Uttar Pradesh On July 8
Draupadi Murmu, the NDA presidential candidate is scheduled to visit Lucknow to campaign for the Presidential election. On July 8-visit, Murmu will meet the MLAs and MPs of the BJP as well as allies in Uttar Pradesh, which is also the largest state with MPs, MLAs, votes value of over 1.2 1 lakhs.
