Israel Blames Iran For Deadly Attack On Oil Tanker; Killed Two
Multiple suspected drone attacks were carried out on an Israeli-owned oil tanker in the Arabian Sea near Oman killing two crew members on board, including a British national. Israel has blamed Iran for the deadly attack on the tanker. "Iran is not just an Israeli problem, but an exporter of terrorism, destruction, and instability that harms us all," Israeli foreign minister, Yasir Lapid said in a statement.

Drone Carrying 5kg Of IED Explosive Shot Down Near J&K Border
A drone carrying a 5kg Improvised Explosive Device (IED) material across the border was shot down by the Jammu and Kashmir police on July 23. A Quick Reaction Team (QRT) was placed into the action after the drone was observed on the night of July 22 over the border belt of Kanachak along the International Border. Officials claim that the drone was moving towards the Indian border.

PM Tables Meet To Tackle Civilian Operated Drones Following J &K Drone Attacks
Following the drone attack at Jammu air force station, PM Modi tabled a meeting on June 29 to discuss the 2021 drone policy. The meeting witnessed a discussion to fast-track a "comprehensive policy" to tackle the issue of civilian-operated drones. The attendees, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval, and many top officials further discussed "futuristic challenges" in the defense sector.

Another Drone Spotted in Jammu, 5 Drones In 3 Days
Following the two consecutive days of drone activities in Jammu, another drone is spotted at three different locations, Kunjwani, Sunjwan, and Kaluchak. According to the sources, the drone was witnessed at around 2:30 AM on June 29 but disappeared after some time. Earlier, two drone attacks were reported on June 27, and two were found hovering over Kaluchak military camp on June 28. However, the investigations are underway.

Two More Drones Intercepted In Jammu, High Alert Issued
After a few hours of two drone attacks at Indian Air Force station in Jammu on June 27, two more drones were found hovering over in the Ratnuchak-Kaluchak Military Area between the intervening night of June 27 and 28. However, authorities intercepted them before the occurrence of any untoward incident. ''Both the drones flew away.The security forces are on high alert and search operation is in progress,'' said Defence PRO.
