Punjab: Police Arrest Taxi Driver En Route To Deliver Heroin
Punjab Police on October 9 arrested a taxi driver, Pritam Singh, in Ludhiana for carrying 105 gm of heroin. Reportedly, Pritam was caught at Dholewal Military Complex after the police received an input that the accused was en route to deliver the prohibited substance. The accused has been booked under Sections 21, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act. Besides, the police are tracking the past criminal record of the accused.
