The Uttar Pradesh government is planning to submit proposals to setup three bulk drug parks and four medical devices park in the state. The Additional Chief Secretary said that it is important to setup such parks as it allows to minimise import dependency on China for medical necessities. Earlier, the Central Government in July had approved amendment to Pharmaceutical Policies and decided to fund drug parks in various states.
