The Nagpur police's Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) has arrested two drug peddlers with 196 Kg of marijuana worth Rs 29.48 lakh, in Kalamna area of Nagpur, on April 23. The accused identified as Ashok Singh Sundaram (27) and Manish Omprakash (30), were transporting the drugs from Hyderabad to Gwalior in an SUV. After the car was intercepted, the drugs were seized, and a case has been registered against the accused.

In Assam's Nagaon four drug peddlers and five gamblers were arrested by Nagaon police with 34 vials of heroin, 300 sample tablets, and three syringes on February 10. During the search operation, Nagaon police arrested drug peddlers and gamblers in various PS areas of Nagaon district. "Nagaon Police recovered 34 vails of heroin, 300 sample tablets, and three syringes," tweeted Nagaon Police. Moreover, further details are awaited. 

The Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) has arrested two students, identified as Rohit and Rithwik, for allegedly peddling drugs within West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. Rohit's brother Rahul, who works in Hyderabad, is another accused, informed the Police. The students were earlier consumers, later became peddlers, and began procuring and supplying drugs to addicts. Colombia's most-wanted drug smuggler, Dairo Antonio Usuga aka "Otoniel," was apprehended on October 23 by the Colombian authorities. Otoniel, leader of the Gulf Clan, which is the country's largest drug trafficking group, was detained in a rural region of the Department of Antioquia near the Panamanian border. Reportedly, he had been ''one of the most-wanted target for Colombia's most-wanted authorities''. 

The Central Crime Branch Police has arrested a Nigerian national Chidiebere Ambrose, who has been dubbed as "The kingpin" of Bangalore cocaine business. After a month-long lookout, the police arrested him from Banasawadi in east Bangalore.
