Anti Narcotic Cell Arrests Nigerian National Living In Khargar
The Anti-Narcotic Cell of Navi Mumbai police arrested a Nigerian national, identified as Obidike Ebuka, for staying illegally in the country. He was caught when police were carrying out a raid in search of contraband in sector 2 Kharghar and the accused tried to flee, after seeing the police. A case has been registered at Kharghar police station under the Foreign National Act and the Passport Act.

Pakistani Admits Smuggling Drugs In Punjab Via Drones
In a first, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s close aide, Special Assistant on Defence Malik Mohd Ahmad Khan came up with an admission of drugs being smuggled from Pakistan to Punjab using drones. His remarks came during an interview to senior Pakistani journalist Hamid Mir in Kasur city, which borders the Indian Punjab. When asked about smuggling, the close aid said, "Yes, and it (smuggling) is very scary."

FDA Health Advisers Unanimously Approved Alzheimer's Drug Leqembi
Health advisors have unanimously backed the much-anticipated drug Leqembi. After receiving conditional approval in January, early results demonstrated Leqembi's efficacy in early-stage ofAlzheimer's disease. The FDA is currently reviewing more conclusive data to determine if the drug justifies full approval with final decision by July 6. Furthermore, with this, the new drug is likely to be introduced in market, for people in summers.

Two Arrested While Carrying 1 Kg Of Drugs In Uttar Pradesh
In Barabanki region, two alleged drug peddlers were arrested, confirmed police. During the search, the police also sized over one kilogram of morphine estimated to be worth Rs 1 crore on April 8. The search was conducted on a tip-off by the Ramsanehighat police, following which the accused, identified as Asharam and Harjeet were arrested from an intersection near Thorthia village. A case has been registered and investigation is underway.

Pune Police Busts Drug Racket, Arrest 5 People With Marijuana
The Narcotics Cell of the Customs Department in Pune has arrested five people, including two women, who possessed 54 kg of marijuana, confirmed Pune Police on February 17. Mumbai DRI Arrests 1 Person In Drugs Case, Seizes 16 Kg Heroin
In Mumbai, the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) arrested Binu John, a resident of Kerala, for smuggling drugs. The DRI also seized 16kg of heroin which is worth more than Rs 80 crores at the international airport, after receiving information of a man carrying drugs, which was later found in his fake cavity. The DRI also made an arrest in the case and registered a case under the NDPS Act.

Cocaine Worth Rs 9.8 Crore Seized By Mumbai Airport Customs
The customs officials at the Mumbai Airport seized 980 grams of cocaine, estimated to be valued at Rs 9.8 crore from a passenger on October 3. Reportedly, the passenger arrived in Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-610 from Addis Ababa. According to the officials, the contraband was carried in the undergarments of the passenger. The accused has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.

Viral Video Of Woman Under Drug Influence Goes Viral, Police Orders Probe
A viral video of a woman allegedly under influence of narcotics has been reported in Punjab's Amritsar region. After the video went viral, the police ordered a probe in the region. The video, which was reportedly recorded in the Maqboolpura area on the eastern side of the city, shows the woman struggling to move and slouching. Notably, the Maqboolpura area is infamous for issues with drug abuse.

Meow Meow Drugs Valued Rs 1026 Crore Confiscated In Gujarat By Mumbai Police
In Gujarat, the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police uncovered a mephedrone production facility and confiscated narcotics worth Rs 1,026 crore. The party drug, popularly known as "meow meow" or MD, resulted in one of the city's largest narcotics seizures in recent memory. According to the investigators, the accused sold the narcotic using social media platforms and phone applications.

Narcotics Cell Arrests 2 People In Thane, Seizes 266 Kg Ganja
The Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai crime branch seized 266 kg ganja hidden in two cars, confirmed police on August 10. As per sources, two people identified as Ashwin Kumar Ashok Sharma (32) and Raju Ramesh Lohar (24), both residents of Thane, were carrying ganja worth Rs 80 lakh. They were arrested from Airoli, hane, following which a case was registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
