Hindu Temple All Set For Inauguration In Dubai, Open To Public From Dussehra
In Dubai's Jabel Ali, a new Hindu Temple is all set to open on October 4, at the scheduled time of inauguration at 5:00 pm. The newly constructed temple is an extension of the existing years-old Sindhi Guru Darbar Temple, in the United Arab Emirates. As per the local media, people of all religious faith will be allowed in the temple, open to the public from October 5, Dussehra.

Indigo Flight From Chennai To Dubai Received False Bomb Threat; Investigation Ongoing
A private airline flying from Chennai to Dubai got a false bomb threat call on August 27. Following the anonymous call, security services conducted a comprehensive investigation to see whether any explosive materials were put in the Indigo aircraft. Preseason Training For ISL Mumbai City FC To Take Place In Dubai
Mumbai City FC will go to Dubai for pre-season coaching camp in order to be in shape in peak condition for the next season in Indian Super League. From July 25 to August 12, the team will base in the port city of Jebel Ali, Dubai, for a 19-day training camp. During 2021-22 season, the franchise made history by being the first Indian team to win AFC Champions League game.

Customs Agents Detain Man, Seize Air Weapons Worth Rs 20 Lakhs At Lucknow Airport
Customs officials apprehended a traveler who had come in from Dubai and confiscated air guns, telescopic sights, and weapons accessories worth Rs. 20,54,000 on July 19 at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport in Lucknow. The person attempted to proceed via the green channel without making any declarations to Customs but was stopped due to database analysis. Additional investigations are being performed.

Air India Express Flight Diverts To Muscat After Burning Odor Discovered From Vent
An Air India Express aircraft from Calicut to Dubai was diverted to Muscat due to a problem on board on July 16. One of the vents was discovered emitting a burning odor. This is the second time in the past 24 hours that an aircraft from one of India's airlines had to change its route. An Indigo aircraft had made a precautionary stop in Karachi, Pakistan.

Seven Earthquakes Hit Iranian Coast, Slight Tremors Felt In UAE; No Damage Recorded
Seven earthquakes hit Iran's southern Kish Island, jolting Dubai and other cities around the Persian Gulf on June 15. The U.S. Geological Survey stated six magnitudes 4 temblors struck and one magnitude 5.3 off the island. Although no damage or injuries were reported, authorities dispatched rescue crews to the town of Jenah in Hormozgan province. Iran is located on major seismic faults and averages one earthquake every day.

Shiv Sena MLA Ramesh Latke Passes Away In Dubai
Shiv Sena MLA Ramesh Latke (52) died of a cardiac arrest in Dubai, while he was on a vacation. The Shiv Sena functionary on May 12, issued a statement that read, "Latke died late night on Wednesday in Dubai, where he had gone with his family on a vacation". The two-time MLA from Andheri East's mortal remains are likely to be brought back for final rites in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
