Actor Aftad Shivadasani Lost Rs 1.50 Lakh In Fraud
Actor Aftab Shivadasani fell victim to a Rs 1.50 lakh online fraud and filed a case against two unidentified individuals at Bandra police station on October 9. A day earlier, on October 8, the actor received a message regarding his Axis Bank account suspension due to missing PAN card detail. He was asked to click a link and was guided by a person claiming to be bank official, got duped.

Doctor In Pune Lured By Patient, Lost ₹89 Lakhs In Fraud
In a distressing incident in Sambhajinagar, Chinchwad, a female doctor fell prey to an ₹89.58 lakh fraud orchestrated by a patient who had sought medical treatment at her hospital. The doctor promptly reported the incident to the Nigdi police station on Saturday. The accused, identified as Rajesh Jain(47) from Mumbai, lured the doctor into investing in his construction project by promising her a flat worth double the amount she invested.

Mumbai Resident Duped Of Rs 1 Lakh In Cyber Crime
In a cyber fraud, a 35-year-old fashion designer seeking an appointment for her tailor in a hospital lost Rs 1 lakh. The crime unfolded after she filled in details of a link that a fraudulent sent her after getting the cyber crook’s number on the internet. The amount was lost in 20 transactions within 19 minutes. Besides victim, a friend of the victim friend was also duped.

Duo Booked For Duping Women Of Rs 8 Lakhs: Mumbai
The Andheri police have booked a duo for allegedly duping two women of Rs 8 lakh on the pretext of helping them rent a house. The accused were identified as Rajendra Maskar and Vaibhav Mhaskar. As per the FIR, Marigrace Pritam, 47, had approached an agent for buying an accommodation in the Dhivate Chawl in Gudavali, Kandivali. The agent then introduced her to the duo.

Fraudsters Dupe SII Of Rs 1 Crore In Name Of CEO Adar Poonawalla
Fraudsters duped Covid-19 vaccine maker Serum Institute of India (SII) of more than Rs 1 crore. As per police source, the fraudster sent a message in the name of SII CEO Adar Poonawalla, asking for a transfer of money. The fraud occurred between the afternoons of September 8-9, following which a complaint was registered with the Pune Police. Senior official Pratap Mankar registered a case and launched an investigation.
