Bengaluru Police Arrest Man For Cheating Tech Job Aspirants

A man from Maharastra was held by Bengaluru police for duping tech job aspirants and taking money from them. Reports said that the 34-year-old accused, identified as Sanjeev Gangaram of Chinchwad Pune, has cheated several people on the pretext of providing them jobs. A top official said that during the investigation, it has been revealed that the accused cheated at least four persons, "while more details are being collected".

Police Arrest Man For Duping People Over Oxygen Cylinders, Vaccine Jabs

The Chandigarh Police on May 2 arrested Kapurthala-based Sachin Grover who allegedly duped people on social media by promising oxygen cylinders and COVID-19 vaccines. As per the police, Grover used to charge Rs 10,000 for cylinders and Rs 4,500 for a vaccine shot but did not respond after receiving the payment. The police added he has been a known offender who earlier lured youngsters, promising entry in Punjabi entertainment industry.

Maharashtra: Man Arrested For Duping Over 200 People

A man named Pankaj Bagpal has been nabbed by the Maharshtra Police on April 13 for allegedly duping 230 people of Rs 4 crore. As per the police, Bagpal had promised a return of 4% to investors but allegedly fled with all their money. The accused had lured people by telling them that he was having good connections in Dubai, stated AEC Inspector Rajkumar Kothmire.
