Durham University in England defended its student union's decision saying the union's idea for the training course to students working in the adult sex work industry will "educate" them about sex work. It also said that the training will help students to learn how to respond if someone discloses about the work. However, the university also clarified that the training doesn't encourage the students to join the industry.
