Lightyear Announces Launch Of World's First Production-Ready Solar Car
Later this year, a Dutch company will begin delivering the world's first production-ready solar vehicle to clients, offering months of charge-free driving in summer weather. Lightyear is producing vehicles with curved solar panels on the hood and roof. The automobile can travel for up to two months in rainy areas, based on an average commute of 35 kilometers per day. It might last up to seven months in sunny countries.
