Advocate Murdered In Dwarka Sector 1 Of South Delhi
A man identified as Pradeep alias Praveen was arrested for allegedly killing an advocate over a property dispute. The victim identified as Virender Kumar (35) was shot dead in Dwarka Sector -1 in South West Delhi, confirmed police. Furthermore, after investigation it was known that Pradeep was previously involved in 12 criminal cases. The Delhi police has arrested the accused and registered a case under IPC sections.

Delhi's Dwarka Court Dismisses Anticipatory Bail Plea Of Law Book Publisher Shailendar Singhal
A plea seeking anticipatory bail for publisher Shailendar Singhal in a copyright case, has been dismissed by Delhi's Dwarka court, on June 7. Singhal has been lodged in a "violation of copyright" case by Delhi police, after receiving a complaint. According to the complainant Advocate Tarun Narang, the accused who co-authored a law book with him, revised the book and removed his name without obtaining his consent.

Man Helps Visually Impaired Woman Cross Road, Then Rapes Her: Delhi
In Delhi's Dwarka, a man who helped a 20-year-old visually impaired woman cross a road, allegedly raped her, on May 25. The incident occurred when the woman de-boarded a bus at the Sitapuri bus stand and asked the locals to help her cross the road. The accused took her to a deserted lane and raped her. A case has been registered and further details are awaited.

Delhi Metro Service Delay On Blue Lines Irked Commuters
Delhi people traveling on Blue Line connecting Vaishali and Noida with Dwarka are facing issues due to delay in services of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC.) On April 21, the DMRC official took to Twitter and said, "Delay in services between Dwarka Sector 21 and Noida Electronic City/Vaishali. Normal service on all other lines". However, the reason behind the delay has not been disclosed by the officials.

Dwarka Expressway Unlikely To Be Ready Before 2024: Gurugram
Redevelopment work on Dwarka Expressway on a 2.2km stretch of the e-way will start soon as citizens have to wait to use the expressway. According to Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority six-laning stretch between Umang Bhardwaj Chowk and Basai is predicted to be completed soon. Police Arrest 6 For Producing 250 Fake Vaccination Certificates
Salaya Police have arrested six-person, including health staff and travel agents who were allegedly involved in providing 250 fake vaccination certificates over six months for travel purposes. Fire At Hotel Claims 2 Lives, Leaves Few Injured: Delhi
A fire that purportedly erupted due to a short circuit at a four-story hotel in southwest Delhi's Dwarka claimed two lives, including a minor girl, and left a few injured on August 15. ''Eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot'' to douse the fire, said the Director of Delhi Fire Service. Meanwhile, the police have also arrested the owner Nisha Jha and the manager Harshit Saini.

Delhi Police Books 2 For Selling Fire Extinguishers As Oxygen Cylinders
The Delhi Police have arrested two people in Dwarka for allegedly selling fire extinguishers as oxygen cylinders. Reportedly, the accused Ashutosh Chauhan and Ayush sold two extinguishers for Rs 10,000 each to patients who were in critical need of oxygen. When one of the patients passed away, his relatives noticed the fraud and demanded a refund and on denial by the accused, a police complaint was lodged.
