PM Modi Launches New Stretch Of Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor
PM Narendra Modi on December 29 gave a virtual green signal for operating the 351-km long New Bhaupur-New Khurja section of the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor in Uttar Pradesh. The Rs 5,750-crore project aims to provide new opportunities for the state's local industries like dairy sector, textile production, and block printing among others. The PM also opened a modern command centre for the corridor at Prayagraj.
