TN Leaders Condemn Demolition Of Mullivaikkal Monument In Sri Lanka

Tamil Nadu CM K Palaniswami and Opposition Leader MK Stalin have denounced the reported demolition of a civil war memorial monument in Sri Lanka. Constructed in 2019, the monument in the premises of Jaffna University commemorated Tamil civilians who were killed in Mullivaikkal in 2009. Tagging PMO in his tweet, MK Stalin has urged the Centre to condemn the incident citing it as a blow to the Tamil sentiments.
