Application Process Set To Begin For 136 JKPSC Assistant Professors

The recruitment process in the higher education department for the post of 136 Assistant Professors will start on December 28, said the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC). The last date to fill the form and complete the registration is January 27. One can edit the form between January 29 to January 31. The fee for the general category is Rs 1,000 and others will pay Rs 500.

Govt School Shut Down After 14 Students Test COVID Positive: Punjab

Government-run Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been shut down for two weeks, after 14 students tested positive for Covid-19. The boarding school located in Khera village of Mukstar district is treating students at the school premises to avoid the spread of the deadly Coronavirus. The Punjab Government reopened schools in August 2021, with strict Covid-19 guidelines, including six feet social distancing, face masks and sanitization.

Education Dept Demands To Consider KCET Marks For Professional Courses

Schools in Punjab to Reopen from October 19; SOP released

Punjab Education Minister Vijay Inder Singla has announced that the schools for grades 9 to 12 will reopen on October 19, for students and teachers outside the containment zones only. Students can opt to continue online classes as well. In the SOP released by the ministry, masks are made mandatory. The students have been asked to wear full-sleeves and the schools will arrange the classes in shifts to avoid contact.
