University of Kerala Granted A++, Highest All-India Grade By NAAC

The University of Kerala now has the highest  National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) grading of A++ with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.67. On June 21, Higher Education Minister R Bindu shared the news through a Facebook post, taking pride that the University of Kerala got the highest all-India level grade. Moreover, the NAAC is an autonomous body funded by the University Grants Commission of the GoI.

Tamil Nadu Consortium Members To Meet Education Minister Over Fee Hike Issue

Amid the recent restriction on engineering colleges' fee-hike, the Consortium of Self-Financing Professional Arts and Science Institutions in Tamil Nadu is scheduled to meet Tamil Nadu Minister, on May 29. The board members will meet Education Minister K. Ponmudi, demanding a fee hike. Punjab Education Minister To Provide Free Uniforms To Government School Students

For the academic year 2022-23, Punjab Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer said that his department will provide free uniforms to 15,49,192 government school pupils from Grades 1 to 8. The education department has issued a grant of Rs 92.95 crore for students. The school management committees (SMCs) will distribute the free uniforms. Education authorities were told by the minister not to buy uniforms from any specific store.
