DU Plans To Modify Admission Process After Class 12 Exam Cancellation

Delhi University Vice-chancellor PC Joshi has announced to modify the admission procedure of the university after the cancellation of class 12 board exams of CBSE and CISCE. Govt, World Bank Ink Agreement To Improve School Education System

NEET Registrations To Start Soon; NTA Seeks Approval For Online Mode

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has recently asked the Health Ministry if the medical entrance test - NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) - could be held online, twice a year. Education Ministry suspends DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Tyagi

After being approved by President Ramnath Kovind, DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Yogesh Tyagi has been suspended from his duties. According to the officials of the Education Ministry Tyagi made decisions that caused "mis-governance" and "malfunctioning" in DU. They also added that the President has ordered an inquiry against Tyagi's failure of his duties and he will remain suspended until further orders.

NEP 2020: PM Modi Emphasizes on Formulation of National Curriculum Framework

Education Ministry initiated a two-day convention as a part of  "Shiksha Parv", which was orated by PM Narendra Modi, on September 11. PM Modi spoke on "School Education in 21st century" under the National Education Policy 2020 via video conferencing. He emphasized on formulation of a national curriculum framework and implementation of a better education system. The new curriculum is set to be implemented from 2022.
