AMC Suggest To Rename Medical College After PM Modi

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is planning to name its AMC MET medical college after Prime Minister Narendra Modi.  Ahead of PM Modi's birthday, the committee decided to rename the college after him.The new name suggested for the college given by the AMC standing committee was brought up during the AMC committee meeting, held on September 15. A final decision in this regard is awaited.

Mumbai Police Registers Case Against Principal For Vulgar Remark Against Female Student

In Mumbai, 23 students filed an FIR against a college principal in Dhobi Talao, for allegedly harassing female students. The complaint filed at Azad Maidan Police station, claiming that the principal Dr Urmila Parlikar, passed offensive comments in class about the female students' body parts. Ragging Video At Govt-Run Medical College Goes Viral, Administration Launches Inquiry

Another incident of ragging at government-run medical college, Ratlam was reported in Madhya Pradesh, on July 31.  The incident came days after seven MBBS students from the MGM medical college in Indore were arrested for ragging juniors. The second incident came to light through a social media post. In the video, seniors were allegedly ragging juniors, following which the college administration took cognizance and launched an inquiry.

It's Women's Choice To Work Despite Education Qualifications, Says Bombay HC Judge

CM MK Stalin Appeals For Mother Tongue Education In Tamil Nadu Institutes
