The Directorate of Education, Delhi has initiated disciplinary proceedings against a vice principal of a city government school over complaints of sexual harassment by some women teachers. This comes after the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) received several complaints of sexual and mental harassment against the vice principal (VP) of the school. The DCW with Delhi Police registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.

Telangana witnessed another shocking incident of question paper leak, on the second consecutive day. On April 3, Hindi question paper of the SSC Examination 2023 was leaked online via WhatsApp. The incident triggered panic and security concern amongst students, appearing for Class X board exams. Actor Sonu Sood's NGO has announced the launch of the "Mera Bharat, Surakshit Bharat Initiative" in association with EC-Council, the world’s largest cybersecurity certification body. On February 1, the Bollywood actor said, he has pledged an amount of Rs 1 crores for the cybersecurity initiative. "Our country is facing a significant resource crisis in cybersecurity, and I am proud to be a part of the solution," said Sood.

Schools have been shut across various districts of Uttar Pradesh following heavy downpour in the northern states of India. The IMD has also issued an alert in the affected areas. According to the IMD, UP recorded an average rainfall of 22.5 mm on October 9, which is 2396% more than the Long Average Period (LAP) for the day. Schools were closed in Lucknow, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Aligarh and other areas.

Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said his government is bringing in a legislation to make Kannada "mandatory" in the State. On the Hindi Divas, September 14, Bommai said the announcement, which is expected to be after protest from the locals. Kannada activists have been demanding for many years now for full implementation of Kannada as the administrative language, which is now being considered by BJP-led State Government.
