Rajasthan: Girl Preparing For UPSC Commits Suicide, Investigation Underway
A girl, preparing for the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination in Rajasthan's Hanumangarh allegedly died by suicide. The police said that the deceased had been living in a girls' hostel with other girls since June and was taking online classes in preparation for UPSC. We have sent the body for post-mortem and have registered a morgue based on a report given by her father, launching an investigation.

Jadavpur University Student Death: UGC Says No Measure To Control Ragging
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has reprimanded Jadavpur University for submitting a "generic" report on the alleged ragging and sexual harassment of a student leading to his death, according to sources. Noting that no proactive measures have been taken by the university to curb ragging on campus, the commission has told the university that it is not satisfied with the report. IIT Hyderabad Student Dies In 12 Days Of Joining, Commits Suicide
In a tragic incident, a 21-year-old post-graduate student of Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad (IIT-H) was found dead. The girl, a native of Odisha was found in her hostel room on the campus at Telangana’s Sangareddy district, confirmed police on August 8. Notably, she died in just 12 days of joining the IIT-campus. Furthermore, a suicide note saying, nobody to be blamed and she is under mental pressure, also recovered.

Woman Teachers Alleges Sexual Harassment Against Vice Principal
The Directorate of Education, Delhi has initiated disciplinary proceedings against a vice principal of a city government school over complaints of sexual harassment by some women teachers. This comes after the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) received several complaints of sexual and mental harassment against the vice principal (VP) of the school. The DCW with Delhi Police registered a case and launched an investigation into the matter.

Byju's & Its Ambassador Shah Rukh Khan Asked To Return Student's Money
Madhya Pradesh district consumer court panel issued a notice to Byju's and its ambassador Shah Rukh Khan, to return money and pay compensation to students. Hearing the complaint of a woman Priyanka Dikshit, who said that she enrolled with the ed-tech platform to get coaching for IAS preparation, and had paid Rs 1.18 lakhs, but got no coaching from Byju's. She further said, despite promises, Byju's failed to refund fees.
