Harnaaz Sandhu From India Wins Miss Universe 2021
Making India proud, Harnaaz Sandhu won the crown of the 70th Miss Universe on December 13. The competition was held in Israel's Eilat. She brought the title home after Lara Dutta who won it in 2000. Reportedly, Sandhu defeated Paraguay and South Africa to secure her win. The 21-year-old Haranaaz belongs to Chandigarh. Earlier, India's Sushmita Sen became the first Miss Universe from the country in 1994.

India Sends 7-Member Team For 13th Esports World Championships
India is set to compete at the 13th Esports World Championship in three categories in Israel's Eilat on November 16. The three categories include CS:GO, Tekken 7, and PES, said Esports Federation of India (ESFI). India has sent a seven-member team for the tournament. It will feature four official games, including DOTA 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Tekken 7, eFootball 2022, and one promoted title, Audition.
