Elderly Woman

A 65-year-old woman was raped by five men, including four minors on the night of August 14 in Madhya Pradesh's Singrauli. The incident occurred at a railway crossing under the Jayant police outpost. The victim was returning from her sister's house was allegedly gang-raped. All the five accused have been arrested and were under influence of some intoxicant when the crime was committed, the police revealed.

An 86-year-old woman was allegedly raped in the Chhawla region of south west Delhi in the evening of September 7. According to a senior police officer, the victim was traveling to a nearby village when the accused, identified as Sonu (37), offered her a lift and turned towards an isolated area to rape her. Reportedly, the medical examination has showed several injuries and bruises on the victim's body.
