ED Says AAP Used Delhi Liquor Scam Money For Poll Campaign
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) alleged the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of using Delhi Liquor Scam money for the Goa Elections Campaign. On February 2, the ED officials filed a chargesheet which mentioned that AAP's communications in charge Vijay Nair asked some people involved in the scam to receive payments in cash. The Central Agency, conducting the Delhi Liquor Scam presented the chargesheet before Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi.

Punjab CM Booked For Violating Election Rules: Punjab Assembly Elections
Ahead of Punjab Assembly elections, CM Charanjit Singh Channi and Shubh Deep Singh have been booked for violating MCC. The Congress leaders were campaigning after the deadline of 6 pm, in Mansa district, following which AAP's Vijay Singhla filed a complaint. Amit Shah To Visit Varanasi To Review UP Election Strategy
Ahead of the 2022 Uttar Pradesh assembly election, Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Varanasi on November 12. During his two-day visit, Shah will hold meetings to discuss the election strategy. He'll discuss the strategy with the office bearers of 98 districts, in-charges of all 403 Vidhan Sabhas, and regional presidents. Meanwhile, senior BJP leaders, including CM Yogi Adityanath will also be present at the meeting.

Bengal: CPI(M) Defers Conducting Big Rallies As COVID Threat Intensifies
Amid the sudden spike in COVID-19 cases, the CPI(M) has cancelled to hold big rallies. The party on April 14 stated to conduct only door-to-door and social media campaigning for the remaining phases of the West Bengal Assembly elections. CPI(M) leader Md Salim stated, "We will undertake door to doors and small group meetings with all Covid-19 measures in place." Meanwhile, ruling TMC has blamed the Centre for the crisis.
