'Times Now' Decides Not To Show Poll Results Coverage On May 2

Citing to give primary importance to COVID-19, English news channel 'Times Now' has decided to pull down assembly election results coverage on May 2. Becoming the first national TV channel to do so, the channel as a ‘symbolic gesture’ will give utmost priority to COVID-related reports. Moreover, while 'Bharat Samachar' and ‘Mojo Story' have opted a similar move, Republic TV and India Today will continue to cover poll results.

US Vote Count Taking Time As 65.2 Million People Cast Vote By Mail

Although the US election results started coming out from November 3, there are no conclusive results yet to decipher who will be the next American President. This is due to the different election rules that the US' states follow. Also, the votes postmarked by election day will be accepted till November 12. The delay can also be attributed to the COVID-19 risks, which forced 65.2 million people to opt-in for voting through mail.
