Pakistan's ruling coalition has announced that it will be dissolving the government on August 8, 2023. The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) has appointed retired High Court Judge Mahesh Mittal Kumar to oversee the electoral process for the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI.) The WFI nominations will begin on 23 June and the final list of candidates will be announced on 2 July. The contest will be for various WFI positions including President and VP. Furthermore, no relatives of Brij Bhushan will be allowed to contest elections.

Telangana Police geared up for the preparations of the state assembly elections and conducted a meeting with the senior officials in Hyderabad. The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) organised a preliminary meeting on the occasion of party formation day. The meeting will be held at Telangana Bhavan, Hyderabad and would be chaired by K Chandrashekar Rao, the CM of Telangana and President of the party.
