Arrival Unveils 1st Prototype Of Electric Passenger Vehicle
Arrival, an electric vehicle company, unveiled its first prototype of a passenger vehicle amid the concern of air pollution in the world. The prototype shows a wide windshield, plenty of space for a driver, and large windows. The testing will be started from 2022 onwards, as per Zee News. 10% Of Newly Registered Vehicles To Be EVs By 2025: Maharashtra
To combat climate change, the Maharashtra government has drafted a revised policy for electric vehicles (EV) in the state. Under the policy, 10% of the newly registered will be modified to EVs by 2025 in major cities. Moreover, 1500 charging stations will be positioned in Mumbai. Notably,15% of MSRTC buses will also be converted into EVs. Additionally, all EVs will be spared from road tax and registration fees.

Aiming to increase its share in electric vehicles market, Ford has unveiled its first-ever fully electric model of its best selling F-150 pickup truck. Named F-150 Lightning, the vehicle will come at a decent starting price of Rs 30 lakh to attract customers. Besides, the modified vehicle also promises 563HP, taking it from 0-100kmph in four seconds, along with a fast charging system equipped with better technologies.

Chinese Woman Sues Tesla For Rs 5.7 Lakh After Her Model 3 Crashes
Tesla has been sued for Rs 5.7 lakh by a Chinese woman after her Model 3 car crashed in China's Zhengzhou, allegedly due to faulty brakes, back in February. The woman claimed that the debacle with the car has caused "mental anguish and emotional distress" to her and that the accident could have killed her father. Reportedly, she came into limelight after her crash-protest at the recently-concluded Shanghai auto show.

Korean automaker Kia Motors has revealed the first image of their dedicated battery electric vehicle ‘EV6’, to be unveiled in March.
