Ola Launches Electronic Scooters, Promises Home Delivery At Rs 499

Indian multinational ride-sharing company OLA has reached 1 lakh bookings for its upcoming "electric scooter" and is planning to home deliver its product across India. It also allows customers to directly purchase at just Rs 499 with no paper requirement. Reportedly, EVs are the future and Ola's e-scooter is a game-changing device. Ola scooters can charge up to 50% in just 18 minutes.

Nitin Gadkari Projects India To Be No 1 EV Manufacturer In World

Virtually addressing Amazon's Smbhav Summit, Union Transport Minister, Nitin Gadkari said that in few years India will become the foremost manufacturer of Electronic Vehicles. The minister also said that the government is working on hydrogen fuel cell technology to end the use of fossil fuels. Estimating manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries in India over next six months, Gadkari said cost of EVs will come down in next two years.
