IndiGo Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Technical Glitch, 2nd Incident

An IndiGo plane from Varanasi made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport on August 22, evening due to a hydraulic issue. The source said there were more than 160 passengers onboard flight 6E-2232 en route to Delhi. Recently, this is the second airline, which has made such an emergency landing. A Mumbai-Ranchi IndiGo flight was diverted to Nagpur after a medical emergency onboard.

IndiGo Flight Made Emergency Landing, DGCA Orders Probe

A Varanasi-bound IndiGo flight made an emergency landing at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, Telangana. On April 4, the flight bound for Delhi had to do landing due to an alleged technical glitch, confirmed the civil aviation sources. All the 137 passengers onboard were said to be safe in Hyderabad. Moreover, the Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) took a serious note and ordered a probe into the matter.

Navy Helicopter Have Emergency Landing Near Arabian Sea, Crew Member Rescued

A navy helicopter ditched off the Mumbai coast due to a technical snag, on March 8. The Indian Navy helicopter ditched close to the coast near the Arabian Sea. Furthermore, the flight was on a routine sortie; three crew members were rescued by naval patrol craft after immediate search and rescue. A probe to investigate the incident has been ordered. SpiceJet Flight Makes Emergency Landing After Detecting Smoke Inside Cabin

A SpiceJet flight which was enroute from Delhi to Jabalpur, returned to Delhi after smoke was detected inside the cabin. The flight which left Delhi airport at 6:15 am, returned to Delhi at 7 am, after passengers first spotted the smoke at around 5,000 feet altitude. All the passengers were safely de-boarded at Delhi airport. Reportedly, the passengers also complained of difficulty to breath due to the smoke.

US-Bound Air India Flight Makes Emergency Landing At Delhi Airport

Owing to a medical emergency on board, an Air India flight, AI-105, returned to Delhi airport after three hours of flight on December 4, which was scheduled to land in USA's Newark.
