Anupam Kher To Play Crucial Character In Ranaut's Emergency, First Look Unveiled
After releasing the first look of Kangana Ranaut as PM Indira Ganshi, the makers of Emergency, have unveiled the poster of important character in the film, activist, socialist, theorist and politician, JP Narayan. The role is being played by legendary Bollywood actor Anupam Kher. Speaking about Kher onboard, director Kangana Ranaut said, " I am privileged and humbled that he chose my script. I am nobody to choose him."

Fire Breaks Out In Mumbai's Agripada
A fire broke out in the Agripada area of Mumbai early on 20th April. The incident took place on the second floor of a building in the Agripada area. 2 Dead, Several Injured In Cooch Behar Storm
At least two persons have died and several others have been injured during the storm in the Cooch Behar district of West Bengal. Rabindra Nath Ghosh of the Cooch Behar municipality noted that there have been two deaths in the storm in the Moamari Gram Panchayat. He also specified that 50 people have sustained injuries. In other news, 20 deaths have been reported from the recent storm in Assam.

India Provides Rice, Diesel To Sri Lanka As Economic Crisis Intensifies
To help Sri Lanka deal with the dreadful economic crisis India delivered 40,000 MT of diesel on April 2. With this, India has provided 2,00,000 MT of fuel over the last 50 days. ''Consignment of 40,000 MT of diesel under Indian assistance through Line of Credit of $500 million was handed over by High Commissioner to Hon`ble Energy Minister Gamini Lokuge," tweeted GoI. Sri Lanka is witnessing the worst economic-crisis.

PM Modi Calls For Emergency Meeting Over Russia-Ukraine Crisis: Delhi
PM Narendra Modi on February 24, called for an emergency meeting to discuss Russia-Ukraine crisis. Chaired by Modi, the meeting will be attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and top BJP officials. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, NSA Ajit Doval and others will also attend the meeting. Meanwhile, NATO also tightened air, sea and land armies, near Russia and Ukraine territory.

Heavy Snowfall Kills 42 People & Leaves Several Injured In Afghanistan
At least 42 people died, and 118 others were injured due to heavy snowfall in 15 provinces of Afghanistan. Moreover, 2,000 houses destroyed in the snowfall since 20 days, said officials. US Colorado Governor Declares State Of Emergency Amid Grass Fire
Governor Jared Polis of the US, State of Colorado declared an emergency, due to fast-moving grass fires by high winds across the Front Range, on December 30.
