Hollywood star Mark Ruffalo has joined Academy Award winning actress Emma Stone in Yargos Lanthimos' upcoming movie 'Poor Things'. Described as full of "love, discovery and scientific daring", the movie is based on a woman who has been brought back to life by a scientist. It is a screen-adaptation of novel 'Poor Things' by Alasdair Grey. The film has multiple producers including Stone, who will next feature in Disney's 'Cruella'.

Disney Hosts World Premier Of 'Cruella'; First Show Amid Pandemic
Disney+Premier hosted the premier show of the 'Cruella' movie in the El Captain Theatre in Los Angeles. The premier show was reportedly attended by actors Emma Stone, Kirby Howell-Baptiste and director Craig Gillespien. Restricting press entry at the venue, the event observed mandatory social distancing and other COVID precautions. The movie follows the backstory of the evil Cruella DeVil and is scheduled to release on May 28.

Actor Emma Stone Gets Gilda Radner Award For Cancer Awareness
Oscar-winning actor Emma Stone has been awarded with Gilda Radner Award by the New York-based Gilda's Club, which supports cancer patients and their families. The 32-year-old actor, whose mother recovered a breast cancer lately, mentioned the services offered by the club to cancer patients in her speech. Providing services to nearly 10,000 people every year, the club is dedicated towards social support.
