An earthquake of 5.8 magnitude on the richter scale jolted Ecuador on July 15, reported the European Mediterranean Seismology Centre (EMSC). According to EMSC, the earthquake had a depth of 80 km, which is 49.71 miles. Fortunately, the earthquake did not stir Tsunami threats, reported U.S. Tsunami Warning System. Meanwhile, a 16-year-old was killed as a high voltage cable fell on him.

6.1 Magnitude Earthquake Jolts Southern Iran; At Least 3 Dead & 8 Injured
An earthquake of 6.1 magnitude on the richter scale hit southern Iran, which killed at least three persons, on July 2. According to the European Mediterranean Seismology Centre (EMSC), the earthquake which was 10 kms in depth, left at least eight wounded. Mehrdad Hassanzadah, head of emergency management in Hormozgan Province on Iran's Gulf coast, told the media about the casualties reported.
