In an unfortunate incident, a third-year engineering student Rakshita was found hanging from a ceiling fan at her relatives' house in Warangal, Telangana. 18 Year Old Engineering Student Killed After Train Run Over
An 18-year-old girl, studying engineering was killed after being hit by a train while crossing the tracks at Palghar railway station. The incident was confirmed by the Railway Police on February 22. The deceased was a student of St John College of Engineering at Palghar and was hit by August Kranti Express. The details of the deceased is yet to be known and an investigation is underway.

JEE Main Results Announced by NTA; 44 Candidates scores 100 percentile
National Testing Agency (NTA) on Sept 14 night declared the JEE Main results as 44 candidates have scored 100 percentile and 18 students have secured rank 1. The top rankers belonged from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. However, the exam was conducted in four phases due to covid-19 in 2021. NTA to issue a final merit list that will be declared based on the best of the four exams.

Engineering Courses From IITs, NITs In Mother Tongue From 2021
The Education Ministry on November 26 announced that the IITs and the NITs would offer engineering courses in mother tongue. The decision, taken at a high-level review meeting, will come into effect from the next academic session. "A few IITs and NITs are being shortlisted for the same," a senior official said.
