Novak Djokovic Denied Visa In Melbourne; May Not Play Australian Open
The world's number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic, was denied entry in Australia and his request for a visa cancelled at the Melbourne airport, on January 6. Owing to this, Djokovic may not play the Australian Open. However, it is expected that Djokovic could apply for a new visa or pursue a legal appeal. Reportedly, Djokovic has also not received the COVID-19 vaccine so far.

Iran Bans Travel From 8 African, 4 European countries Due To Omicron
Owing to the COVID-19's Omicron variant scare, Iran banned the entry of people from 12 countries, including eight African and four European countries.
