After a drop in water level, the Yamuna River is above danger water mark in Delhi, amid rainfall. On July 17, the water level in the Yamuna increased from 205.45 metres at 6am to 205.50 metres at 8am and 205.76 metres at 11:00am. Furthermore, Delhi Minister Atishi Singh said, "Delhi does not face any danger due to it but the people in relief camps are requested not to go back."

All ports in Gujarat have been asked to hoist a warning signal as a depression formed in the Arabian Sea is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm during the next 24 hours, confirmed IMD. The AQI of Delhi remained in the 'very poor' category, on January 23, with an AQI of 314. It is expected to improve due to rain, said SAFAR. Delhi received rainfall on January 22 and it is likely to continue till January 23 and the minimum temperature is expected to remain between 2-3° Celsius. Meanwhile, Noida and Gurugram's air quality remained 'very poor' with AQI at 307 and 303, respectively.
