India’s largest electric vehicle (EV) charging station, with capacity to charge 1,000 cars, has been inaugurated in Gurugram Sector-86, on March 3. Bharat Petroleum Plans To Introduce EV Charging Stations On Petrol Pumps
Bharat petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) has planned to offer Electronic Vehicle charging (EV) stations at around seven thousand petrol pumps over the coming years, throughout the country. BMC Inaugurates Maharashtra's First EV Charging Station
Aaditya Thackeray, the Environment Minister of Maharashtra, inaugurated an electric vehicle charging station where "seven EVs can be charged" simultaneously at a public parking lot in Mumbai's Dadar on August 17. This is the first EV station set up by the BMC, where four chargers will only take 1.5 hours to charge. Meanwhile, Thackeray said, ''It's necessary to give priority to start charging stations.''

Tata Power To Install Electric Charging Station At HPCL Pump
Tata Power has collaborated with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) to provide electric vehicle charging stations at HPCL petrol pumps across the country.
