Toyota To Launch Electric Vehicles In India By 2026

Toyota, an automobile company announced to launch of 10 electric vehicles by 2026. In an official statement, the company said after a long argument, the company is all set to plan for 10 new battery electric vehicles, for the Indian market. In addition, they are also planning to establish a new focused unit for specialized next-generation battery EVs. The decision is a response to other competitors like Tesla.

Volvo To Go 100% Electric By 2030; Vows To Transition To Online Sales

Swedish automaker Volvo is eyeing to go fully electric by 2030 by weeding out all combustion engine vehicles. Meghalaya To Bring EV Policy 2021; Eyes To Curb 36.5L Kg CO2/Year

Meghalaya Government has introduced a new electric vehicle policy 2021 to be implemented from April 1. Applicable for the next five years, the policy aims at ensuring 15% EVs in Meghalaya by 2025 to save roughly 50 lakh litres of fuel. Offering incentives to early birds, the government plans to include over 20,000 EVs in the next five years.
