PM Modi Announces Rs 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia To Victims In Mizoram Bridge Collapse Incident

PM Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakhs to the kin of those who died in the Mizoram bridge collapse incident. On August 23, 17 workers died after the under-construction Aizawl railway bridge collapsed. While the deceased will receive Rs 2 lakhs, a post on the official handle of the PMO on X (Twitter,) informed that Rs 50,000 each will also be provided to the injured.

Maharashtra CM Visits Hospital To Meet Victims Of Pune-Maharashtra Express Bus Accident

In the Buldhana bus accident, at least 26 people died and left 8 injured in Nagpur-Mumbai Express Highway. After the tragic accident, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and State Minister visited the accident site and met with the injured at the hospital. The Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena government also announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to all the families, who lost their kin in the tragic accident.

PM Modi Announces Compensation For Victims Of Dhanbad Fire Accident

PM Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh, for those who died in a fire accident and Rs 50,000 for injured people in the Dhanbad fire accident. On the evening of January 31, a massive fire broke out in a multi-storeyed building in Dhanbad district, Jharkhand, killing 14 people, including three children. Approximately 15 fire tenders were rushed to spot to ablaze fire and an investigation was launched.

Three People Died Of Electrocution In Tamil Nadu, CM Announces Ex-Gratia

In Tamil Nadu's Villupuram district, three men aged between 40 to 45 years old, died of electrocution, on July 20. The victims came into contact with a electric fence in a farm and died. The TN CM MK Stalin announced a solatium of Rs 2 lakh each to the families of the three deceased persons, from the CM Relief Fund.  The victims belonged to Vanniper village in the same district.

IndiGo Staff Misbehaves With Special Child, Minister Calls For Investigation

After IndiGo airlines staff refused special needs for boarding a flight to a specially-abled child, the Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia issued a warning to the airlines. In a tragic incident, 11 people lost their lives and 15 others were injured in the Thanjavur electrocution incident. Reportedly, a high tension wire came in contact with a car, which caused a fire. The injured have been admitted to Thanjavur Government Medical College and Hospital. Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin visited the injured and assured Rs 1 lakh ex gratia to the severely injured and Rs 50,000 to others.

CRPF Increases Ex Gratia For Officials Who Die On Line Duty

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) announced Rs 30 lakh ex-gratia for officials who were killed on line duty. On March 17, CRPF Director General Kuldip Singh said, "Under financial assistance risk fund, ex gratia for personnel martyred in action has been increased to Rs 30 lakh from Rs 20 lakh, and for all other cases, ex-gratia has been increased to Rs 20 lakh from Rs 15 lakh."

PM Modi Announces Rs 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia For AP Accident Victims' Families

PM Narendra Modi, on February 7 announced an ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh for deceased victims' families in Andhra Pradesh.  Notably, on February 6 night,  a SUV collided with a truck, killing nine people including six women and a child. As per AP police, one of the deceased was said to be a local BJP leader, however, identities are yet to be ascertain. Furthermore, an investigation is underway.
